Our Guarantee

If during the period of the Guarantee the product fails due to manufacturing or material defect, Vysal will replace free of charge or, at our sole discretion, refund the cost of the product (or portion thereof) or arrange for the heating to be repaired. The cost of repair or replacement is your only remedy under this Guarantee which does not affect your statutory rights. Such cost does not extend to any cost other than direct cost of repair or replacement by Vysal and does not extend to costs of relaying replacing or repairing any floor covering or floor.

The Guarantee is only valid if:
1.the product is registered with Vysal within 30 days after installation date. Registration can be completed by filling out the paper-work accompanying the product. In the event of a claim, proof of purchase is required, so keep your invoice and receipt such invoice and receipt should state the exact product that has been purchased
2. the heater has been earthed and protected by a 30mA Residual Current Device (RCD) at all times
3.the installation complies with the installation instructions provided
4.the products have been paid for in full and there is no dispute between Vysal and the customer / installer / supplier

The Guarantee does not continue if the floor covering over the underfloor heating is damaged, lifted, replaced, repaired or covered with subsequent layers of flooring. If the underfloor heating fails due to damage caused during installation or tiling, this Guarantee does not apply. It is therefore important to check that the heater is working (as specified in the installation manual) prior to the final floor covering being applied.


The Lifetime Guarantee on certain products relates to the natural life of the product, having been properly installed in accordance with the published installation instructions, and used under normal working conditions. This Guarantee will not be valid if any of the products either have not been properly installed or have been abused in their application. Factors that would constitute abuse are illustrated by (but not limited to) the following examples:

Thermostats – Switching loads in excess of 12Amps.
Heating elements – High floor temperatures (in excess of those stated in the installation instructions) or prolonged heating times caused by improperly controlling or programming the heating system or by thermal blocking.

Vysal is not responsible for:

Damage or repairs required as a consequence of faulty installation, incorrect application or misuse.
Damage as a result of thermal blocking.
Damage as a result of floods, fires, winds, lightning, accidents, corrosive atmosphere or other conditions beyond the control of Vysal.
Use of components or accessories not compatible with this unit.
Products installed outside the United Kingdom.
Normal maintenance as described in the installation and operating manual, such as cleaning thermostat.
Parts not supplied or designated by Vysal.
Damage or repairs required as a result of any improper use, maintenance, operation or servicing.
Failure to start due to interruption and/or inadequate electrical service.
Any damage caused by frozen or broken water pipes in the event of equipment failure.
Changes in the appearance of the product that does not affect its performance.

Claims procedure:

Any claim made under this Guarantee should be made directly to the manufacturer. The claim itself should be made in a letter setting out the date and place of purchase and the date of submission of the Guarantee form, and giving a brief explanation of the problem which has led to the claim. This letter should be sent together with proof of the purchase date (preferably a receipt) to the address above.

This Guarantee applies to all goods purchased from an authorised re-seller within the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This Guarantee does not confer any rights other than those expressly set out above and does not cover any claims for consequential loss or damage. This Guarantee is offered as an extra benefit and does not affect your statutory rights. Additional written copies of this Guarantee can be obtained by writing to the above address or via the Vysal website. Please include a stamped address envelope for each copy of the Guarantee requested.
